Program Visit to Gotland
General information: The annual event Almedalsveckan ( Almedalen Week ) is the year’s most busy week on Gotland. “In 2014, there were 3 513 events in the official program, approximately 1 450 organisers and an estimated 35 000 persons took part. Audiences at speeches are not included.”
Hotels in Visby are fully booked during Almedalen Week at rates starting around 300 Euro/night. To keep the cost down, we’ve booked accomodation at two hostels; Hostel Visby Prison and Birkagatan Hostel. Also here, prices are highly influenced by the “Politic week“.

Price: EUR 600 incl. tax/person
The price includes:
• Travel in minibus Uppsala-Gotland and back to Stockholm
• Ferry to/from Gotland
• Shared double room 3 nights, hostel (you will change accommodation after the first night) incl. breakfast
• Technical visit to Smart Grid Gotland

If you prefer single room the supplement will be EUR 200 incl. tax.
For information – the hotel rooms are in a fairly simple standard in hostels. Wc and shower in corridor. Please se attached link to the two different stays.
